Polybutylene Terephthalate (PBT) is a high-performance thermoplastic polyester known for its high strength, heat resistance, and excellent electrical properties. It is similar to Polyethylene Terephthalate (PET) but has lower moisture absorption and better processability, making it ideal for engineering applications.

Performance Overview
PBT is often reinforced with glass fibers for added strength and heat resistance. Compared to PET, PBT has lower melting temperature and better processability, making it faster to mold while still offering excellent durability and insulation properties. However, it has lower stiffness than PET and may degrade under UV exposure without proper stabilization.
