Performance Overview
PC/PBT is valued for its processing ease, excellent part finish, excellent toughness (cold temperatures), and colorability. UV stabilizers are required for long-term outdoor use.
JEDA Polymers produces many standard formulations of PC/PBT with prime or recycled feedstocks. JEDA Polymers adds value to these engineering resins by increasing stiffness and tensile properties with the addition of fiberglass. In addition, these products can be further enhanced by adding UV additives, anti-stat additives, and lubricity to reduce wear on sliding components.
